What we collect

When you use justhtml.dev, we collect:

• Email address — used for authentication via magic link. We do not share it.
• Display name and profile information — what you choose to provide on your profile.
• Session information — a secure cookie that keeps you logged in for 30 days.
• Submitted URLs and descriptions — the content you post to the showcase.
• Comments — text you submit on showcase entries.
• IP address — logged with magic link requests and sessions for security purposes.

How we use it

We use your data exclusively to operate the site: to authenticate you, display your profile, show your submissions, and send you the magic link you requested. We do not use your data for advertising.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your data to anyone.
• We do not use third-party analytics services (no Google Analytics, no tracking pixels).
• We do not send marketing emails. The only emails we send are the magic links you request.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie (jh_session) to keep you logged in. It is HttpOnly, Secure, and expires after 30 days of inactivity. No third-party cookies.

Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile, submissions, and comments are removed. Expired magic link tokens are deleted after 24 hours.
